I think all of my art is secretly about time. Wishing for more of it. Wanting to slow it down. Feeling the weight of its lack. The branching of its possibility. Here in nature I find a lesson; the climb of a slow moving snail, the unfurling petals of a rare blooming cacti, the daily crawl of the sun across the sky. It’s illustrated here in a delicate interplay of natural detail and abstracted form.
