Snake and Bone T-Shirt

I find myself returning again and again to the pairing of snakes with protea plants. Not only are they both delightfully fun to draw, but they share a mythological theme that makes me consider them a perfect duo. Snake's ability to shed their skin led them to become a cross cultural symbol for rebirth. Similarly protea flowers ability to thrive and bloom beautifully after fires and other adverse conditions meant that they have continued associations with renewal. 

In addition to these two favorites, I’ve added other symbols from myth and folklore to tell a visual story of sorts. We’ve got an eye for insight, a tooth for growth, moon phases for change, and jawbones for strength. This piece was born out of a time where our life was at a crossroads, and it’s still a comforting reminder of both the power and constancy of change in all things.
