Rabbit Skull Antler T-Shirt
This is the piece that started it all! Way back in 2011, before Fennec ever existed as a design studio; we were in a folk band together (yes, really… we contain multitudes okay?). This tee was actually originally created as merch for that band, something we thought would be a one off collaboration to help the two of us pay for gas to get back home from an out of state festival. Well… it turns out the t-shirt was quite a bit more popular than our music; and more than a decade later it’s still here.
The collage style art on this tee would eventually become a signature of our studio, but during that first collaboration it was just an intuitive way for the two of us to work together. I’ve always liked that this shirt has a bit of a hidden joke at it’s center, because that’s a jackalope skull! What can I say; from day one we’ve been all about the unusual. Surrounded by detailed natural elements like moon phases, snakes, bees, tiny bones, and more; it was a hodgepodge of what we were into at the time and let’s be real: not much has changes!
