The death’s-head hawkmoth has long been seen as omen of ill fortune and death due to the distinctive skull shaped markings on its thorax. Which is really too bad because these beauties are harmless, unless you count their not particularly menacing chirp.
At Fennec we have a soft spot for nature’s maligned oddities. Nested in art nouveau style celestial framing with delicate florals, we hope to give this gentle giant of the moth world its due with a tee that weds traditional design and the unconventional.
